Prabhu Bank CEO Ashok Sherchan arrested



KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank CEO Ashok Sherchan has been arrested.

A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police detained him in Kathmandu.

CIB spokesperson SSP Shiva Kumar Shrestha has confirmed the arrest.

Shrestha said, “Sherchan was taken into custody on allegations related to a banking offense. Sherchan is being brought to the CIB office for further procedures.”

According to Shrestha, more details will be shared through an official statement soon.
