NRB announces today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 142.84 and the selling rate at Rs 143.44.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs 165.11 and the selling rate is Rs 165.80, while the UK Pound Sterling stands at Rs 188.67 (buying) and Rs 189.46 (selling). The Swiss Franc has been set at Rs 177.02 for buying and Rs 177.77 for selling.

Likewise, the Australian Dollar is trading at Rs 93.20 (buying) and Rs 93.59 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at Rs 101.71 and Rs 102.14, and the Singapore Dollar at Rs 110.01 and Rs 110.47 respectively.

For other major currencies, the buying and selling rates are as follows: 10 Japanese Yen at Rs 9.14 and Rs 9.18, one Chinese Yuan at Rs 20.19 and Rs 20.27, one Saudi Arabian Riyal at Rs 38.08 and Rs 38.24, and one Qatari Riyal at Rs 39.20 and Rs 39.36.

The rate for one Thai Baht is Rs 4.44 (buying) and Rs 4.46 (selling), while the UAE Dirham stands at Rs 38.89 and Rs 39.05. The Malaysian Ringgit is priced at Rs 34.57 (buying) and Rs 34.71 (selling), the South Korean Won (100 units) at Rs 9.71 and Rs 9.75, the Swedish Kronor at Rs 15.03 and Rs 15.10, and the Danish Kronor at Rs 22.11 and Rs 22.20.

Furthermore, Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying and selling rates of the Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 18.35 and Rs 18.43, the Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 465.11 and Rs 467.06, the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 378.90 and Rs 380.49, and the Omani Rial at Rs 371.01 and Rs 372.57.

Meanwhile, the rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
