Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 141.72, while the selling rate is Rs. 142.32.

The buying rate for one Euro is Rs. 165.95 and the selling rate is Rs. 166.66. Similarly, one British Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs. 190.28 and sold at Rs. 191.09. The Swiss Franc stands at a buying rate of Rs. 177.46 and a selling rate of Rs. 178.21.

For other major currencies, the Australian Dollar is being bought at Rs. 92.98 and sold at Rs. 93.38, while the Canadian Dollar is set at a buying rate of Rs. 101.72 and a selling rate of Rs. 102.15. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 109.77 and a selling rate of Rs. 110.24.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen are valued at Rs. 9.52 for buying and Rs. 9.56 for selling. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.91 and sold at Rs. 19.99.

The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 37.79 and a selling rate of Rs. 37.95, while the Qatari Riyal is set at Rs. 38.88 for buying and Rs. 39.05 for selling.

Additionally, the Thai Baht is being bought at Rs. 4.39 and sold at Rs. 4.41. The UAE Dirham is trading at Rs. 38.58 (buying) and Rs. 38.75 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit is at Rs. 33.62 for buying and Rs. 33.77 for selling.

One hundred South Korean Won are valued at Rs. 10.11 (buying) and Rs. 10.15 (selling), while one Swedish Kronor is priced at Rs. 15.04 (buying) and Rs. 15.10 (selling). The rate for an unspecified currency was mentioned as Rs. 22.23 for buying and Rs. 22.33 for selling, though the currency name was not provided.

The Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at Rs. 18.21 and sold at Rs. 18.29. The Kuwaiti Dinar is trading at Rs. 463.81 for buying and Rs. 465.78 for selling, the Bahraini Dinar at Rs. 375.86 and Rs. 377.45 respectively, and the Omani Rial at Rs. 368.08 for buying and Rs. 369.64 for selling.

Additionally, the rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. Furthermore, commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the most up-to-date figures can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
