Mayor of Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality passes away



BHAIRAHAWA: Sajaruddin Musalman, the Mayor of Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality, passed away this morning at 9:00 am due to cardiac arrest. He had been suffering from heart disease for a long time, according to family sources. He was 73.

His last rites will be performed at a local Kabristan (Maqbara) at 5:00 pm today, following family traditions, said Tulsiram Lamichhane, coordinator of the municipality.

Musalman had been elected as mayor representing the Nepali Congress party and was actively involved in local governance until his passing.
