Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is 140 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate is 141 rupees 42 paisa.

The buying rate of one European euro is 164 rupees 24 paisa, and the selling rate is 164 rupees 94 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is 189 rupees 49 paisa, and the selling rate is 190 rupees 29 paisa. One Swiss franc is being bought at 175 rupees 51 paisa and sold at 176 rupees 26 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 91 rupees 93 paisa, while the selling rate is 92 rupees 32 paisa. One Canadian dollar is being bought at 102 rupees 42 paisa and sold at 102 rupees 85 paisa. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is 109 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate is 110 rupees 02 paisa.

The rate for 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 57 paisa (buying) and 9 rupees 61 paisa (selling). One Chinese yuan is being bought at 19 rupees 74 paisa and sold at 19 rupees 83 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 53 paisa, and the selling rate is 37 rupees 69 paisa. One Qatari riyal is being bought at 38 rupees 63 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 79 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 34 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 36 paisa. The UAE dirham is being bought at 38 rupees 34 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 50 paisa.

The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of 33 rupees 33 paisa and a selling rate of 33 rupees 47 paisa. One hundred South Korean won is being bought at 10 rupees 12 paisa and sold at 10 rupees 16 paisa. The buying rate of one Danish kroner is 22 rupees 00 paisa, and the selling rate is 22 rupees 10 paisa. (Note: A figure appears to be missing before “14 rupees 87 paisa”; please clarify if needed.)

The NRB has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 14 paisa. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at 460 rupees 74 paisa and sold at 462 rupees 70 paisa.

Similarly, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at 373 rupees 53 paisa and sold at 375 rupees 12 paisa. The buying rate of one Omani rial is 365 rupees 77 paisa and the selling rate is 367 rupees 33 paisa. Meanwhile, one hundred Indian rupees are being bought at 160 rupees and sold at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

It has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. Rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
