Elderly patients to receive up to 75% discount at Beni Hospital



BENI: Beni Hospital has launched concessional treatment services for senior citizens in line with the government’s policy to ensure accessible healthcare for the elderly.

Senior citizens aged 60 to 69 will receive a 50% discount on hospital-prescribed treatment services at the 50-bed facility. Those aged 70 to 79 will be eligible for a 75% discount, according to Dil Kumari Khatri, Chairperson of the Hospital Management Committee.

Most services have been made free for patients above the age of 80. The hospital provides healthcare services to over 60,000 patients annually.
