SANKHUWASABHA: A mother and her infant daughter were found dead in their home in Chainpur Municipality-11, Luhakot.
The deceased have been identified as 42-year-old Sita Khanal, wife of Krishna Prasad Trital, and her 72-day-old daughter.
According to DSP Daksha Kumar Basnet of the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, both were discovered lifeless in their bedroom.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
