Deputy Speaker Thakur takes oath of office and secrecy



KATHMANDU: Newly elected Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rubi Kumari Thakur, has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal administered the oath in the presence of President Ram Chandra Paudel at a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan this evening.

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Balendra Shah, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, members of the Council of Ministers, lawmakers, and heads of constitutional bodies were present on the occasion.
