KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party are set to formally announce their merger today (Wednesday). The unification event is scheduled for 11 AM at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi in Kathmandu.

Following the merger, the new party will be named the Nagarik Janamat Party.
