KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.
According to the Division, hilly areas, including Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, are partly cloudy, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.
By this afternoon, hilly regions across the country will continue to see partly cloudy conditions, whereas other areas will remain predominantly clear.
There is a chance of light rain with lightning in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Additionally, light snowfall is possible in a few places in the higher hills and mountainous regions of these provinces.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies are expected in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather.
