Madhes-centric parties hold meeting at Singha Durbar to form an alliance

KATHMANDU: A meeting of Madhes-centric parties, both from the ruling coalition and the opposition, has begun at Singha Durbar.

The meeting, held at the International Relations Committee hall, aims to form a political alliance.

Eight parties are participating, including Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), Janamat Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, Janata Pragatisheel Party, and Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP).

Representatives in attendance include Renu Yadav from JSP, Sharad Singh Yadav from Janamat, Rajkishor Yadav, Ram Kumar Sharma, and Manish Suman from JSP Nepal, and Lal Veer Chaudhary and Ganga Chaudhary from Nagarik Unmukti.

Similarly, Sarbendra Nath Shukla and Laxman Lal Karna from LSP, Ram Naresh Ray, Keshav Jha, and Santosh Mehta from Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, Hridayesh Tripathi, Shivjap Yadav, and Sabbir Hussain from Janata Pragatisheel, and Brishesh Chandra Lal and Bijay Singh from TMLP are also present.
