Only 102 companies eligible for loans by pledging shares
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has released a list of 102 companies eligible for loans through share pledging.
These companies meet the criteria outlined in Section 8 of Chapter 3 of the Margin Trading Facilities Procedure, 2075 BS, which governs the share collateral facility.
Gold price rises
Gold prices have risen in the local market on Wednesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of printed gold increased by Rs. 1,400 per tola compared to Tuesday, and was traded at Rs. 160,600 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs. 20, traded at Rs. 1,855 per tola, up from Rs. 1,835 on Tuesday.
