KATHMANDU: Nepal will face Malaysia today in the semi-finals of the ACC Men’s U-19 Premier Cup cricket tournament underway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The match is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Ajman Stadium.

Nepal entered the semi-finals as the winners of Group ‘A’, while Malaysia topped Group ‘D’. Nepal secured its spot by winning both group-stage matches defeating Saudi Arabia by eight wickets in the opener and registering a dominant 119-run victory over Hong Kong in the second match.

A total of three teams from the 14-nation tournament will qualify for the upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup. Both finalists will earn direct qualification, while the two losing semi-finalists will contest a playoff for third place, with the winner also advancing. The U-19 Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in the UAE in December.
