Two killed in Arghakhanchi jeep accident



ARGHAKHANCHI: Two people have died and 24 others sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Sandhikharka-9, Tari, Arghakhanchi.

The jeep, bearing registration number Lu 1 Ja 4723, was traveling from Butwal to Purkotdaha in Gulmi via the Sandhikharka-Dhorpatan road section when the accident occurred this morning.

District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, confirmed that two people died on the spot, while 24 others were injured. Four of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.

The deceased have been identified as Aruna Thapa, 10, from Purkot, Madane Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi, and Narayan Poudel, 13, from Neta Kharka, Madane-7.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at Arghakhanchi Hospital, with one patient referred to Butwal for further medical care.
