Fire breaks out in houses near Kasthamandap



KATHMANDU: A fire broke out early this morning near Kasthamandap in Kathmandu, engulfing three houses and a temple in flames. Locals reported that the fire started around 3 a.m.

Fire brigades from Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Lalitpur Metropolitan City are actively working to control the blaze, but it has not yet been fully contained. The Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, and Kathmandu Metropolitan Police are also assisting in firefighting efforts.

According to locals, the fire originated in a cloth warehouse, though the exact cause remains unknown.
