Finance Minister to respond in National Assembly meeting today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) is taking place today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. Today’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:15 PM.

During the session, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is slated to respond to oral questions related to the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, Legislative Management Committee Chairperson Tulsa Kumari Dahal will present the committee’s report on the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081.

Secretary of the National Assembly, Dr. Surendra Aryal, will table the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081.

Meanwhile, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey will present a proposal to send the Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation Bill, 2081 to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.

Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will table a proposal to send the Social Media Bill, 2081 to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.
