One kiiled in Parbat jeep accident



PARBAT: A jeep accident in Nepane, Phalebas Municipality-8, Parbat, last night claimed one life and left two injured.

Police Inspector Ram Prasad Sapkota of the District Police Office said that Dol Bahadur Chhetri, 39, from Thanamoula, Phalebas-8, died after the jeep (registration Ga 1 Ja 697) overturned. The vehicle reportedly fell about 150 meters off the road.

Chhetri sustained serious injuries and passed away while receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara.

Two others injured in the accident, Bikram Sunar, 34, of Phalebas-7, and Suraj Sunar, 33, of Thanamoula-8, are currently being treated at the same medical facility.

Their condition is stable, and authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, Inspector Sapkota added.
