Nepal Rastra Bank announces today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the exchange rates for all major foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, pound sterling, and dinar, remain stable compared to the previous day.

Yesterday, most foreign currencies saw a decline in value. However, today the rates have remained unchanged and will be traded at the same prices as yesterday.

As per the bank’s data, the buying rate for one US dollar today is NPR 136.47, while the selling rate is NPR 137.07. These rates are the same as those recorded yesterday.

Similarly, the buying rate for one euro today is NPR 159.90, and the selling rate is NPR 160.60. The buying and selling rates for one pound sterling stand at NPR 187.39 and NPR 188.22, respectively.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 89.20 and the selling rate is NPR 89.60. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 446.22 and sold at NPR 448.28.

Likewise, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is NPR 361.75 and the selling rate is NPR 363.34.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time as needed. The bank also noted that commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the most up-to-date rates can be found on the official website of the central bank.
