Gold prices continue to fall for fourth straight day



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have continued their downward trend for the fourth consecutive day.

After declining on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the price of gold has fallen again today (Thursday).

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation, gold is being traded at Rs 1,87,800 per tola, a drop of Rs 1,500 compared to yesterday.

From Monday to Wednesday, the price of gold had already decreased by Rs 2,500. Yesterday, it was priced at Rs 1,89,300 per tola.

Gold had surged by Rs 1,400 per tola last Sunday but has been on a continuous decline since then.

Silver prices have also dipped today, falling by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,995, as per the Federation.
