Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 136.28, while the selling rate is Rs. 136.88.

The buying rate of one European euro has been set at Rs. 154.32, and the selling rate at Rs. 155.00. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs. 183.77, while the selling rate is Rs. 184.58.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc are Rs. 164.72 and Rs. 165.44, respectively.

For other major currencies, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs. 87.74, and the selling rate is Rs. 88.13. The Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs. 98.56 (buying) and Rs. 98.90 (selling), while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs. 105.87 (buying) and Rs. 106.24 (selling).

Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.45, and the selling rate is Rs. 9.49. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs. 18.95 (buying) and Rs. 19.03 (selling).

The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs. 36.33 for buying and Rs. 36.49 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 37.39 (buying) and Rs. 37.56 (selling).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs. 4.17 and the selling rate is Rs. 4.19. The UAE dirham is being traded at Rs. 37.10 (buying) and Rs. 37.27 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs. 32.26 (buying) and Rs. 32.40 (selling).

For 100 South Korean won, the rates are Rs. 9.93 for buying and Rs. 9.97 for selling. The Swedish kronor stands at Rs. 14.19 (buying) and Rs. 14.25 (selling), and the Danish kronor at Rs. 20.69 (buying) and Rs. 20.79 (selling).

The bank has also set the buying and selling rates of the Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 17.39 and Rs. 17.46, respectively. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs. 444.20 (buying) and Rs. 445.98 (selling), while the Bahraini dinar is being exchanged at Rs. 361.47 (buying) and Rs. 363.50 (selling).

The Omani rial stands at Rs. 354.00 for buying and Rs. 355.56 for selling. Similarly, the rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

These rates are published by the central bank and are subject to change based on market fluctuations.
