Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the updated foreign exchange rates for today, Tuesday, showing a decrease in the value of all major foreign currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound, Australian dollar, and currencies from the Gulf region.

The exchange rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 135.76 for buying and NPR 136.36 for selling. In comparison, yesterday’s rates were NPR 136.43 for buying and NPR 137.03 for selling.

For the euro, today’s buying rate is NPR 154.01 and the selling rate is NPR 155.69, down from yesterday’s rates of NPR 155.05 (buying) and NPR 155.73 (selling).

The pound sterling is being exchanged at NPR 181.05 for buying and NPR 181.85 for selling, compared to NPR 181.66 (buying) and NPR 182.46 (selling) on the previous day.

The Australian dollar is priced at NPR 86.83 for buying and NPR 87.21 for selling today, which is a drop from yesterday’s rates of NPR 87.26 (buying) and NPR 87.64 (selling).

The Kuwaiti dinar’s exchange rates are NPR 442.52 for buying and NPR 444.47 for selling, whereas yesterday’s rates were NPR 444.90 (buying) and NPR 446.86 (selling).

The Bahraini dinar is set at NPR 360.14 for buying and NPR 361.74 for selling today, down from NPR 361.88 (buying) and NPR 363.47 (selling) yesterday.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time, depending on market fluctuations.
