Gold and silver prices increase in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have continued to rise in the local market over the past few days, with both metals seeing further increases today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has reached Rs. 270,600 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs. 4,835 per tola, marking record highs for both metals.

Analysts attribute the increase to the rising value of the US dollar. Internationally, an ounce of gold is trading at $4,530, while silver is priced at $78 per ounce, according to reports from global media.
