Prakash Paudel elected unopposed as UML’s general convention delegate from Myagdi

KATHMANDU: Prakash Paudel has been elected unopposed as a delegate from Myagdi district for the CPN-UML’s 11th General Convention scheduled to begin on December 13.

Paudel, who narrowly lost the race for ANNFSU central chairperson, secured unanimous selection as a UML General Convention representative. He has been endorsed under the under-40 youth cluster from Myagdi.

With this, Paudel now has an open path to contest for a UML central committee position. Known both as an ANNFSU leader and a social campaigner, he has maintained a growing presence inside the party in recent years.

Paudel is currently aligned with former President Bidya Devi Bhandari and UML Senior Vice Chairperson Ishwar Pokharel, according to party insiders.
