KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Central Working Committee today (Sunday) at 1 PM. The meeting will take place at the party’s central office in Sanepa, which was partially damaged during the Gen-Z movement.
The meeting will be attended by office bearers, members, and invited members of the Central Working Committee. While the official agenda has not been disclosed, this marks the party’s first Central Working Committee meeting since the Gen-Z protests.
The timing of the meeting is seen as politically significant, as it coincides with internal efforts—led by leaders including General Secretary Gagan Thapa—to gather signatures calling for a special general convention.
