Missing Hayu family seen in Pokhara



KATHMANDU: The Hayu family, who were reported missing from Sindhuli, have been seen in Pokhara.

According to police, the 16-member family had checked into Hotel Janani in Gagangauda, Pokhara, on Saturday evening and checked out the following morning. The hotel’s manager, Sunil Bhurtel, confirmed their stay and said they had occupied three rooms.

Bhurtel said he had already informed the police after recognizing the family from the widely shared news reports.

Earlier on Monday, Golanjor Rural Municipality had published the names of all 16 members of the Hayu family, saying they had been missing since Friday.
