National Assembly meeting scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly is set to convene today at 1:15 p.m.

The agenda includes the presentation of the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2081/82 by Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel.

Additionally, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya is scheduled to propose that the Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts, 2080—received from the House of Representatives—be forwarded to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.

The session will also feature oral question-and-answer rounds with ministers from the ministries of Urban Development; Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Health and Population; and Forest and Environment.
