KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand Biplav has alleged that anti-republican activities are being carried out as part of a foreign conspiracy.
Addressing a protest rally organized by the Socialist Front in Kathmandu on Friday, Biplav stated that the conspiracy by feudal forces will not be allowed to succeed.
As the coordinator of the Front, Biplav said, “The remnants of the feudal forces, which were defeated and crushed by the people’s strength, are conspiring against the republic. We have achieved the republic, but not all of the people’s aspirations have been fulfilled, and we recognize that.”
He further emphasized that the Nepali people have no need for feudal elements.
