HoR meeting adjourned until March 30

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned without convening and will now be rescheduled for 11 am on March 30.

On Friday, Speaker Devraj Ghimire held discussions with the chief whips of both the ruling and opposition parties, but no agreement was reached.

Opposition parties have been obstructing the session, demanding a response from Prime Minister KP Oli regarding the removal of Kulman Ghising from the Electricity Authority.

However, Prime Minister Oli has shown no willingness to provide an answer.
