Jhapa-11 and Bhadrapur Blazers competing for Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup title



JHAPA: The host team, Bhadrapur Blazers, and Jhapa-11 will face off in the final match for the title of the second edition of the Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup International Invitation Knockout Football Tournament. The match will be held at Mechi Stadium in Jhapa.

Bhadrapur Blazers reached the final by defeating Bangladesh’s Crown Bazar Pragati Sangh, while Jhapa-11 advanced to the final after beating Bhutan’s Daga United Football Club.

The tournament’s winner will receive Rs 1.3 million in cash, along with a trophy and medals, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs 700,000, a trophy, and medals.

Additionally, the tournament’s outstanding player will receive Rs 105,000, while the outstanding goalkeeper, highest goal scorer, emerging player, and coach will each receive Rs 25,000. The player of the match for each game will be awarded Rs 21,000.

A total of 10 teams from Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh participated in the tournament.
