KATHMANDU: Westerly winds are currently affecting weather patterns across the country.
As of Tuesday morning, the hilly areas of Koshi Province are experiencing partly cloudy skies, while mist and fog are widespread in many parts of the Terai.
The rest of the country is largely clear, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division has warned that mist and fog are expected to persist in several Terai regions and valleys in the morning.
This could potentially impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and air travel. The public has been advised to take necessary precautions.
