NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 142.54, while the selling rate stands at Rs 143.14.

The buying rate for one Euro is Rs 164.94 and the selling rate is Rs 165.63. Similarly, one UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 187.48 and sold at Rs 188.26, while the Swiss Franc is fixed at Rs 176.67 for buying and Rs 177.42 for selling.

Likewise, the Australian Dollar’s buying and selling rates are Rs 92.49 and Rs 92.88, respectively, and the Canadian Dollar is set at Rs 101.17 for buying and Rs 101.60 for selling. The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is Rs 109.74, with the selling rate at Rs 110.21.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.11 and the selling rate is Rs 9.15, while the Chinese Yuan stands at Rs 20.13 for buying and Rs 20.22 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is being bought at Rs 38.00 and sold at Rs 38.16, and the Qatari Riyal at Rs 39.11 for buying and Rs 39.28 for selling.

Similarly, the Thai Baht is valued at Rs 4.42 for buying and Rs 4.44 for selling, the UAE Dirham at Rs 38.81 and Rs 38.97, and the Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 34.46 and Rs 34.61.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean Won stand at Rs 9.67 and Rs 9.71, respectively, while the Swedish Kronor is set at Rs 14.95 and Rs 15.02, and the Danish Kroner at Rs 22.08 and Rs 22.18.

Additionally, Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 18.33 and the selling rate at Rs 18.40, the Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 464.19 and Rs 466.15, the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 378.09 and Rs 379.68, and the Omani Rial at Rs 370.23 and Rs 371.79.

The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160.00, with the selling rate at Rs 160.15. The central bank has noted that these rates may be revised at any time, and exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates are available on the bank’s official website.
