Prime Minister Karki offers prayers at Kamal Pokhari Chhath Ghat



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki visited Kamal Pokhari in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon to offer prayers on the occasion of Chhath festival.

During her visit, Prime Minister Karki performed rituals and offered arghya (the curd holy water) to the setting sun. She was welcomed at the site by members of the Chhath Management Committee.

On the main day of the Chhath festival, devotees across the country worship and make offerings to the setting sun in the evening.
