RSP calls parliamentary meeting to discuss visit scam

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a meeting of its parliamentary party for Saturday, at 9 AM, according to party spokesperson and lawmaker Manish Jha.

The meeting will focus on the latest developments related to the visit visa scandal, which has recently sparked significant political controversy.

RSP has been staging protests in parliament, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, alleging his involvement in the scandal.

Although the government has formed an investigation committee led by former Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi to probe the issue, the RSP has rejected the committee, stating that it lacks independence and credibility.
