Foreign Minister to attend FAO conference in Rome



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Arzu Rana Deuba is departing for Rome, Italy, today to attend the 44th session of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference will be held from Saturday through Thursday and will bring together global leaders and delegates to discuss pressing issues related to food security, sustainable agriculture, and rural development.

Minister Rana is scheduled to address the main plenary session as well as participate in several high-level side events during the conference.

The Nepali delegation, led by Minister Rana, includes Bharat Kumar Regmi, Nepal’s Ambassador to Austria, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
