Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs. 135.84, while the selling rate is Rs. 136.44.

The euro’s buying rate is Rs. 154.59 and the selling rate is Rs. 155.27. Similarly, the pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 184.19 and sold at Rs. 185.00. The buying rate for the Swiss franc is Rs. 165.25, and the selling rate is Rs. 165.98.

Likewise, the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs. 88.41 and sold at Rs. 88.80. For the Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs. 99.05 and the selling rate is Rs. 99.49. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs. 105.81 (buying) and Rs. 106.28 (selling).

Among other currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.50, with a selling rate of Rs. 9.55. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 18.90 and sold at Rs. 18.98.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs. 36.22 (buying) and Rs. 36.38 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 37.27 (buying) and Rs. 37.44 (selling).

The Thai baht is being bought at Rs. 4.17 and sold at Rs. 4.19. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs. 36.98 and a selling rate of Rs. 37.15. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs. 32.20 (buying) and Rs. 32.34 (selling).

Similarly, the South Korean won is at Rs. 9.92 (buying) and Rs. 9.96 (selling). The Swedish kronor has a buying rate of Rs. 14.28 and selling rate of Rs. 14.34, while the Danish kronor is at Rs. 20.72 and Rs. 20.82 respectively.

NRB has also fixed the rate of the Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 17.34 (buying) and Rs. 17.41 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs. 443.24 (buying) and Rs. 445.20 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs. 360.32 (buying) and Rs. 361.91 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs. 352.85 (buying) and Rs. 354.41 (selling).

Additionally, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

NRB has noted that these exchange rates are subject to change as required, and the rates set by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
