KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the general influence of westerly winds.

As of Monday morning, the weather in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces is partly cloudy.

Dense fog and mist are prevailing across many parts of the Terai, disrupting normal life in the Terai Madhes.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the rest of the country is experiencing mainly clear weather.

While the four provinces remain cloudy, there is no expected rainfall anywhere today.

In a bulletin issued by the Division on Monday morning, it warned of possible fog and mist affecting many areas in the Terai and valley in the morning.

This may impact daily life, agriculture, health, transport, and air travel. The public has been advised to take necessary precautions.
