213 kg of marijuana seized in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: Acting on a special tip-off, a team from the Armed Police Force seized 213 kg of marijuana hidden inside a kunyu in Batasaura, Bindabasini Rural Municipality–6.

The contraband was confiscated on Tuesday during a patrol operation, according to Superintendent of Police, Puran Chandra Bhatta.

According to the Armed Police Force, the seizure resulted from an “intelligence-led operation” aimed at curbing smuggling and drug trafficking in the border area.
