Foreign currency exchange rates for Sunday announced



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 140.26, while the selling rate stands at Rs 140.86.

Similarly, one euro is being bought at Rs 162.83 and sold at Rs 163.53, while one pound sterling is valued at Rs 186.70 for buying and Rs 187.50 for selling. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 176.03 for buying and Rs 176.78 for selling.

The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 91.12 for buying and Rs 91.51 for selling, the Canadian dollar at Rs 99.98 and Rs 100.41, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 107.90 and Rs 108.36, respectively.

The Japanese yen (per 10 units) is trading at Rs 9.17 for buying and Rs 9.21 for selling. The Chinese yuan stands at Rs 19.69 and Rs 19.78, the Saudi riyal at Rs 37.40 and Rs 37.56, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 38.48 and Rs 38.65, respectively.

According to the NRB, the Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.28 for buying and Rs 4.30 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 38.19 and Rs 38.35, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 33.21 and Rs 33.36, the South Korean won (per 100 units) at Rs 9.74 and Rs 9.79, the Swedish krona at Rs 14.93 and Rs 15.00, and the Danish krone at Rs 21.80 and Rs 21.89.

The central bank has set the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.05 for buying and Rs 18.13 for selling, the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 457.33 and Rs 459.29, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 372.07 and Rs 373.66, and the Omani rial at Rs 364.30 and Rs 365.86.

Meanwhile, the Indian rupee is valued at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

The NRB stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision based on market conditions. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
