Prachanda: I am no longer Maoist chair, now the coordinator



KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said he is no longer the chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre) but now serves as the coordinator of the party’s Special Convention Organizing Committee.

Speaking to the media after the conclusion of the central committee meeting on Friday, Prachanda said the committee had been dissolved and the decision to hold a special convention in Mangsir was endorsed.

He added that the central committee meeting concluded “transparently and successfully.”
