KATHMANDU: Newly appointed chair of the Nepal Insurance Authority, Janak Raj Sharma, took the oath of office on Friday before Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal.
The Cabinet meeting on Thursday had decided to appoint Sharma as the head of the regulatory body.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Sharma formally assumed office later the same day.
