Clear weather expected today as monsoon weakens



KATHMANDU: With the monsoon winds losing strength and only minimal local wind activity, clear skies are expected to prevail across most parts of the country.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, skies will be generally cloudy over the hilly regions this afternoon and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

There is a chance of moderate rainfall in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Light rain may occur at one or two locations in other parts of the country.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy over the hilly areas, including Koshi Province, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly clear. There is a possibility of moderate rain at one or two locations in the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi Province.
