Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs. 141.57, while the selling rate is Rs. 142.17.

The buying rate of one European euro is Rs. 166.24, with the selling rate at Rs. 166.94. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 190.17 and sold at Rs. 190.98. The buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc have been fixed at Rs. 177.87 and Rs. 178.63, respectively.

For other currencies, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs. 93.25, and the selling rate is Rs. 93.65. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 101.89 and sold at Rs. 102.32, while the buying and selling rates for one Singapore dollar are Rs. 109.83 and Rs. 110.29, respectively.

The exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.51 (buying) and Rs. 9.55 (selling). One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.87 and sold at Rs. 19.96. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs. 37.75 and Rs. 37.91, respectively, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs. 38.84 and sold at Rs. 39.00.

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs. 4.40, and the selling rate is Rs. 4.42. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 38.54 and sold at Rs. 38.71. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs. 33.62 for buying and Rs. 33.77 for selling.

Similarly, for 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 10.09, and the selling rate is Rs. 10.13. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs. 15.05 and a selling rate of Rs. 15.11, while the Danish krone is fixed at Rs. 22.27 (buying) and Rs. 22.37 (selling).

The has also set the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 18.20 (buying) and Rs. 18.28 (selling). One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 463.51 and sold at Rs. 465.47, while the buying and selling rates for one Bahraini dinar are Rs. 375.47 and Rs. 377.06, respectively. The Omani rial is fixed at Rs. 367.70 (buying) and Rs. 369.25 (selling).

Additionally, the buying rate for one hundred Indian rupees is set at Rs. 160.00, with the selling rate at Rs. 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change as needed, and rates offered by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
