KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is 139 rupees 84 paisa, and the selling rate is 140 rupees 44 paisa.
The buying rate of one European euro is 163 rupees 54 paisa, and the selling rate is 164 rupees 24 paisa. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is 188 rupees 90 paisa, and the selling rate is 189 rupees 71 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc is 174 rupees 29 paisa, while the selling rate is 175 rupees 04 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 90 rupees 83 paisa, and the selling rate is 91 rupees 22 paisa. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 14 paisa, and the selling rate is 101 rupees 57 paisa. Likewise, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 108 rupees 98 paisa, and the selling rate is 109 rupees 45 paisa.
For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 49 paisa, and the selling rate is 9 rupees 53 paisa. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 54 paisa, and the selling rate is 19 rupees 62 paisa.
The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 27 paisa, and the selling rate is 37 rupees 43 paisa. The buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 36 paisa, and the selling rate is 38 rupees 53 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 31 paisa. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 07 paisa, and the selling rate is 38 rupees 24 paisa.
The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 24 paisa, and the selling rate is 33 rupees 38 paisa. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 08 paisa, and the selling rate is 10 rupees 12 paisa. The buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 69 paisa, and the selling rate is 14 rupees 75 paisa, while the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 91 paisa, and the selling rate is 22 rupees 22 paisa.
It has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 90 paisa, and the selling rate at 17 rupees 98 paisa. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is 457 rupees 86 paisa, and the selling rate is 459 rupees 83 paisa.
The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is 370 rupees 89 paisa, while the buying rate of one Omani rial is 363 rupees 22 paisa, and the selling rate is 364 rupees 78 paisa.
Additioanlly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees, and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
