National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, is taking place today (Thursday) at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor, scheduled for 1:15 PM.

During the session, Member of Parliament Jag Prasad Sharma is slated to present a resolution proposal focused on ensuring easy access to drinking water for citizens and establishing a bleaching powder industry in Nepal.

In addition, National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal will table the message received from the House of Representatives concerning the Appropriation Bill, 2082.

Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will formally present the Appropriation Bill, 2082 to the National Assembly, in line with Sub-rule (2) of Rule 133(a) of the National Assembly Rules, 2075.
