RSP to comply with Supreme Court order

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced it will comply with the recent Supreme Court order concerning party chair Rabi Lamichhane.

According to acting spokesperson Manish Jha, the party’s central committee believes the court’s action stems from political vendetta and has decided to launch a nationwide campaign against such reprisal.

The campaign for justice against political vendetta, will be coordinated by RSP’s deputy treasurer Deepak Bohora.

Jha stated the campaign would be conducted both domestically and among the Nepali diaspora to raise awareness about what the party views as politically motivated actions against Lamichhane.

Additionally, the central committee has directed its parliamentary party to push for a thorough investigation into the “visit visa” scandal and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

The meeting also approved the resignations of Deputy General Secretary and MP Sumana Shrestha from her party post and Central Training Department Chief Anil Keshari Shah from his leadership role.
