KATHMANDU: Westerly and local winds are currently influencing the country’s weather, the Weather Forecasting Division has stated.

As a result, the hilly regions are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains clear.

According to the Division, the hilly regions will continue to be partly cloudy on Wednesday afternoon.

There is also a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur in isolated areas of the high hills and mountainous regions.

Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy tonight in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will have clear skies.

The Division has advised the public to stay cautious, as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces within the next 24 hours. Light snowfall may also occur in some high hilly and mountainous areas.
