Nepal to face Myanmar in International Women’s Football Championship final today



KATHMANDU: The final match of the International Women’s Football Championship will be held today between Nepal and Myanmar at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor.

The match is set to kick off at 6 pm.

Both teams secured their spots in the final after impressive performances in the four-nation championship.

Myanmar topped the league stage with 7 points from three matches, registering two wins against Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan and drawing with Nepal.

Nepal also accumulated 7 points with two wins against Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan and a draw against Myanmar. However, they finished second on goal difference.

The stage is set for an exciting clash as both teams remain unbeaten in the tournament.

Football fans have been requested to reach the stadium two hours in advance.
