KATHMANDU: Currently, westerly winds are having a general impact on Nepal’s weather.
As of Sunday morning, the weather in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces is partly cloudy. Mist and fog are prevalent in many places across the Terai.
According to the weather bulletin from the Weather Forecasting Division, the rest of the country is experiencing mostly clear skies.
The bulletin also notes, “Mist and fog are likely to persist in several places across the Terai and valleys this morning. It is advised to take necessary precautions as these conditions may impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and air travel.”
Earlier today, the temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. The Division has forecast a high of 18 degrees Celsius in Kathmandu later this afternoon.
