NC holding Parliamentary Party meeting today

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Parliamentary Party today and tomorrow.

Chief Whip Shyam Prasad Ghimire stated that internal party matters will be discussed during the meeting, scheduled for Sunday and Monday.

He emphasized that the Nepali Congress will present a unified front with a consistent voice and stance both in Parliament and publicly.

It is important to note that the NC has already decided to appear united both inside and outside Parliament.

This decision was made during a joint meeting of party officials, former officials, chief whips, whips, and ministers held at Singha Durbar on Saturday.

The meeting also focused on the current state of the government, its ongoing actions, and the bills that have been presented or are scheduled to be presented in Parliament.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak briefed attendees on these issues, while Agriculture Minister Ramnath Adhikari and Health Minister Pradeep Paudel provided updates on their respective ministries’ work.
