ICC releases T20 World Cup schedule; Nepal to open campaign against England



KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday unveiled the match schedule for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka next year.

According to the schedule, Nepal will begin its World Cup campaign against England on February 8. Nepal’s second match is set for February 12 against Italy, followed by a February 15 clash with the West Indies. The team will play its final group-stage match against Bangladesh on February 17. All the matches will be played in Mumbai.

This will be Nepal’s third appearance in a T20 World Cup.
